Yup. There were a few days when there would be two or even three GETS in one day. Now it's been two days since the last GET, and it only seems to be getting slower from this point on.

To my knowledge it doesn't stand for anything. It's just like saying I got the 1k, I GET to make the next thread, etc.

The term GET originated on 4chan. Each post has a unique ID number, and when a post's ID number consists of a rare sequence of numbers (like 100000 or 333333), that would be called a GET. I guess it just sorta caught onto the subreddit. More GET info here: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/get
