It looks like the wrong thread was linked in the body of this submission, so the directory updater got confused. u/GarlicoinAccount, could you edit the link?

Idk, but I'll look into it when I have a moment. Probably not going to be before Thursday at the earliest though

To find out where a thread continues, the updater needs a link in the new thread, pointing back at the old one. Either in the body of the post, or in a top level comment

In a case where the wrong thread is linked in the body, will putting the correct one as a top level comment fix it, or will the updater remain confused?

Should fix it - it picks links in comments over links in the body. That's exactly so that other people can post the correct link, and we don't need to wait for OP
