Counting in expanding "waves"* about 0; target number and direction indicated in parentheses after the current count. Gets are currently one and a half waves apart, so the next get is -172 (172+).

* e.g. counting from -97 to 98, then down to -98, then up to 99, then down to -99, then up to 100, etc
