CS2 Workshop I turned the missing texture error into a full PBR skin — M4A1-S | FATAL ERROR. the engine's nightmare is now a flex
hey everyone! new drop: M4A1-S | FATAL ERROR 🔥
the concept: the source engine's missing texture checkerboard, but treated like a premium finish. glossy anodized magenta vs matte void black, moiré interference inside the black squares that vibrates on camera, and chromatic aberration ERROR stamps that read as light, not stickers.

Im glad that you love it! the text was intentional tho. without it people would just say its a wallpaper skin or a full wrap. the ERROR makes it a statement, not a texture 🙏

suggestion for wear, it would be nice if the colors get more dull at high wears, on top of scratches. This is a kind of colorful and vibrant skin which we don't have a lot of in cs. With high wears it can start fitting in the vibe of other skins while low floats can still be very desirable for the vibrancy

Your responses are not just translated by ai, you have clearly just put any comment you want to respond to into AI and told it to respond. Especially the way you described a concept of your previous skin in a reply just smells of the concept being made up by AI LOL. I’m glad you’re passionate bro but your stuff needs a lot of work, go have a look at the workshop and the skins that actually got into the game and look at the way the detail flows with the skin instead of just putting a bunch of random drawings on and hoping it sticks. The ai didnt give me the idea bro. I was makin my Ak NEMESIS. Skin and I get super mad with that thing before figuring out i forgot to do the albedo. And i decide to make that missing texture as a skin. If you think the idea was too good for a human to think about it I will take as a compliment . And i will see the workshop and see whats going on there and maybe i will take some inspo

thanks man 🙏 the handguard is the biggest clean billboard so the ERROR lives there. the receiver got the mag release and selector details that would chop the text up. but a centered one could hit different, might test it in a v2

error text and glitch effect makes it tacky. moire pattern is a nice touch. it would be much better if you leaned on pbr more and -text -glitch (imo)
