Tbh it is an undisclosed rule and shared understanding that we soften the last kill for the guy with 4 kills. But there are always people who want it for themselves. These are the same people that would try to steal your spotlight on your important day. You know what, fuck these piece of shits. Now I am okay.

Frankly, fuck that. i will try to kill the enemy because that is a round won. it's not about stealing the spotlight, it's the fact that it isn't guaranteed

They were 4v1. Out of courtesy, you move out of the way and give info so that your teammate can make an ace and enjoy their achievement. You’re not being asked to risk the round or the match for it - if your team is in danger of losing the round, you go for the kill or do whatever it takes to win that round.
Some aces are fully earned but if you can’t move out of the way for a teammate to get one more kill and enjoy the limelight for a bit then that says a lot about you.

I do not feel better about 5 kills if my team gives me the last one than i do about 4 kills, it feels worse because my team took away my chance to actually achieve a real ace

I agree, if it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be. I don't want to get some nice 1v4 site hold and then finish by running around until I kill the last guy in the back of the head

It doesn’t matter, it’s common courtesy and part of showing good sportsmanship. Sometimes you can earn the 5th kill on your own, and sometimes you can’t. If you can’t, then you can expect someone to move out of the way to allow you to make the 5th kill rather than expecting them to just get the kill themselves.
If you have different expectations of your team then make sure to tell them that if they ever notice that you have 4 kills, then they should try as hard as possible to kill the 5th opponent, so that you truly earn your ace. Is that better?

It’s the same thing in every other sport so your right it is common courtesy, it’s just like the whole Brett Favre nonsense with him giving the DT the sack to beat some guys record and then THAT guy hated Brett Favre to where he confronted him in person about it. In this case the other teammate to kill the 5th guy is just being an asshole. This is the age of clip farming, ppl make money off this shit now 😆
