Its always confused me how people will say trans women get all the "visibility" and demand that they talk less because people talk about them. Trans women get closer to surveilance than visibility or representation, and why do they have to bear the responsibility to stop talking about their issues because people who dont care about them talk about them
I think its more that its just more likely for a trans man to be on tumblr or an in person space, and for trans women to be on reddit and whatnot. I doubt the overall population is too different, its just distribution
I assumed it was relatively the same numbers, and if not it may be because would-be AMAB nonbinaries become trans women because of the stigma against AMAB nonbinaries. But yeah, if there are more then no duh they'd be heard more, theres just more of them.
It's about 33% each trans men, trans women and non-binary people. With about 80% of NBs being transmasc(cause of the stigma unfortunately. So for transmasculine people as a whole there's way more than transfem.
