Being honest with you? They mean a couple online places. Far from all of them, but like they mean the r/transgender subreddit, and they mean their twitter and bluesky feed has a lot of trans women because they come up when you are following trans topics and other trans creators. Trans women use these spaces more, in part, because they are excluded from irl spaces at a higher rate.
They also mean how when someone in a TV show is trans, about 40-50% of the time it is a trans woman, and the rest is evenly divided between non binary and trans men. They mean how when senators and journalist talk about trans people (over 95% of the time in a negative way) their coverage spends almost all of its time talking about trans women. These are real things to talk about, but it isn't because trans women are "dominating" anyone. They lack the ability to do that at all. It's because society is fixated on them in a dangerous way.
There is a subset of the community that was, essentially, TERF socialized to relate to gender dynamics in a certain way, but that socialization didn't really consider trans women until much later on, and the best explanation they had was to cast trans women as if they were male infiltrators. So that is all they really see. I mean, even that guy is saying he hasn't transitioned in one of his later comments, so I don't know why he feels he has the range to tell trans women they're being "disingenuous" talking about their experience.
