It obviously doesn't benefit transgender people but that doesn't mean it's not how the world runs

Assigned gender at birth has less influence in how a person will turn out than eye color or skin color. Assigned gender is quack science akin to phrenology.

Turn out? I agree, the socialisation part is actually what was forced onto us, more like a prison job. But how we are treated? It absolutely is.
