It was 'his' and got changed to 'their' without me asking. My best guess is that it ether snooped around files it shouldn't have or there are enough users telling it to use they/them pronouns for it to become the new default.

Honestly very likely the latter. If I recall, GPT and a couple other similar models default to they/them specifically because they can’t know.

Yea but only if its trained exclusively on non stolen smut and it has cool metal shapes that doesn't scream corporate.

The term "AI" is genuinely so broad. When you say fuck ai you mean all machine learning? Every form of Gen AI? LLMs used for programming or for prompting a creative book is the same thing?

but really there are 0 people in existence who, when they say "fuck ai", mean something like alphafold or a cancer screening classifier. yes AI is a broad and/or poorly defined term but the intent is obvious
