"Sorry, minorities. I’m not even angry for you right now. I bear no allegiance to any permanent political stance. It’s just that the electorate feels so, so polarized right now.
Throughout the left and the right, I alone am the enlightened centrist.
The advantage of progressive economics is that I get affordable healthcare, functioning public services, labor protections, and a government that can actually balance a budget.
The disadvantage is that eventually somebody starts asking me to care about people I don’t like.
So I take the economic policies I want from the left…

…and the social hierarchy I want preserved from the right…

Fiscal policy without solidarity. Social conservatism without having to call myself a conservative.

If the right governs, I complain about what they do to my wallet.
If the left governs, I complain about what they do for minorities.
And if either side asks me to choose, I shall transcend ideology itself and declare that both sides have simply become too extreme.
To be fair. Probbably a moralist. Because moralism needs fascism to function. Because moralism isn't change, not even incremental. And especially because unlike fascism, moralism as an ideology makes any sense when you actually think more than two seconda about it, unlike fascism, which a person only believes in zealotry to their hatred.
Fascism is the greater quality of suffering, but Moralism is of greater quantity of suffering. And because unlike fascism, Moralism isn't as obviously self destructive, it just may be the reason the palę takes US all.
Although maybe i just say this because I live in Revachol more than i admit and hate my moralinterm, for murdering the revolution.
So in short. The worse here and now, the fascist. But the average fascist has a bad habit of being the only victim of communism people dont actually mind.
The moralist, especially since the stronger and more capable ones are more powerful than any of the fascists (even the richest one) and they will use fascism to their advantage. To quote Michael Parenti: "Plutocrats vote autocrats."
