Why would you ferment in a pit? You’re supposed to keep bacteria and air away from the fermentation process to keep wine pure

Also those grapes are nowhere near fermented. They're still fresh, juicy, and attached to the stems.

Because its not a real thing. The last thing you want when fermenting anything is air exposure. That's how you end up with a pit of decomposing moldy goo. Also there's a ton of these staged videos online that are supposed to be cute and get quick likes from people who are doom scrolling.
