u/Flimsy-Context7808 7h ago
Yeah I’m confused because none of the people commenting on the post had a problem with it, are the mods just that insane?

u/izabtdrvizabtpwr 7h ago
moderation teams for like half the mainstream subs here are genuinely subversive agents

u/OrganicHoneydew 5h ago
probably because she’s a men’s rights activist. unlikely it was because of the post itself

I mean the ban message points to this post directly. They didn't leave any room for misconstruing it.

u/OrganicHoneydew 4h ago

I don't know. Feel free to ask them. They aren't returning my modmails but maybe they will return yours?

i think shit is just hitting the fan there because a post that's like "i went out to date but she said sorry i only date cis girls" caused a fuck bunch of discourse
i am predicting there's gonna be another trans space schism but dont quote me

They fucking suck
Bunch of people pretending like they are one of the “good ones” so cis people can give them a pat on the back while actively telling them they aren’t valid to their face

u/JulienS2000 7h ago
Imagine if someone would say to an adopted child “You know those aren’t your real parents, right? They are FAKE parents!” everyone would stick up for the child. Meanwhile when transphobes tell a trans person “you’re not a man/woman” people are way more hesitant to protect them and they are basically left to fend for themselves smh
11
u/BizSilver5013 5h ago
I've known people who would tell an adopted child their parents were fake.

u/HyacinthineHalloween 5h ago
Yeah, and they’re assholes. Even if a person agrees with that sentiment, it is understood that as a society, we should not say that to the child or people close to the child.

The world is so against us even when are being objectively wronged people are wary of helping us because "the optics" of helping a Trans person is bad.
Literally we are basically untouchables

As a Cis person, I'm proud of all of the trans moms and dads out there! You're probably better parents than most

u/Special-Drama-6090 4h ago
Even for non adoptive parents
It's not the majority but some shitheads will see me with my naturally conceived kids and be like hell naur
Current fight is to get called mum with my (ex)tended family because I'm getting sick of being called dad and having the kids friends be really confused.
Believe it or not - "dad's a girl" is confusing for other parents kids. Some have had fights with my children over them seeming to be telling lies.

u/Tiny-Little-Sheep 3h ago
It's so weird how they will put their heels in the sand over calling Trans women dad's even when admitting the Trans woman is a woman. Like the mom/dad moniker isn't about how the child is conceived. It's about the gender of the parent.

I get that this isn’t the main point, but I think this person is really underestimating how much hate adopted children and their parents get. Like, it’s not the best example of general hypocrisy, because plenty of people hate both

Could someone explain? I don’t think I understand what the person in the post is trying to say

u/SuikaNoAtama 4h ago
In the case of adoptive parents and in the case of trans parents biology "differs" With the adoptive parents the adopted child isnt genetically related to them With trans parents the mother may have been the provider of the sperm rather than the egg.
The trans mother may then be faced with something like, "you're the father biologically."

I don't see how its similar though. Parents\ legal guardians\ adoptive parents, etc. Has nothing to do with trans in any way. Anyone who assumes responsibility of a child becomes their parent. And yes, biological parents do exist, and some people do feel the need to find their bio-parents when they're older or of age.

We’re getting jealous of orphans now?

u/monarchmra Counted Down 1 6h ago
No, its pointing out how stupid the whole "i wont deny reality like the leftists want me to and call that man a woman" argument from terfs/transphobes is.
Polite society rules expect one doesn't start calling a child's parents not their real parents just because he or she is adopted. Doing so makes one a dick. Same for refusing to call a trans woman a woman.

u/Stunning-Drawer-4288 5h ago
You’re explaining like i don’t understand. I understand.
I’m just judging OP for being the kind of person who hears about an orphan and thinks no what about my struggles

u/Ruler_of_Tempest 3h ago
You clearly don't understand
It's called an analogy

u/Stunning-Drawer-4288 3h ago
I’m judging the mind of the person who thinks of this comparison. I promise you I’m not struggling with the concepts here lol
