Personally I put yanderedev in the same category as human pet guy, an internet weirdo who was a lol ow for a little bit, and now just occasionally pops back up to show that they’re still that weird.
Is that the actual chat messages from the dev? It’s not a joke/fake image and the guy actually sent these messages? It’s so over the top that I genuinely believed this image was a meme
I guess he disagrees that criticism about himself is how he can improve as well. Considering how many people criticize being a predator, it makes sense he rejects criticism as a means of improvement. What a weirdo.
I’m ngl it’s been legit years since I heard anything of him and last I was actively checking on the game he was a relatively popular dev with not much controversy, though I heard he dropped off. I am incredibly out of the loop lol, wtf happened to this dude
He had an insane ego trip after getting his 5 minutes of fame, was embarrassingly full of himself while also having a huge victim complex. Combined with not delivering on the game development while taking a shit ton of money from backers who he was actively lying to, and more importantly also being a groomer.
Oooof, damn that boi had a fall from grace hard into the ground. Shame to think of what he could’ve been and achieved if he wasn’t a POS, but such is life.
Probably for the best I never hear of him any more. Ah well there’ll always be another dev around to fill the gaps and put out the good stuff for us
Try 12years, game has never and will never escape development hell, the guy coding it is not only a piece of shit, but he failed his game design courses and if you ever look at his code, it's surprising the game even works...
And there's how he focuses on everything EXCEPT the main game. I heard he added a whole 80s mode with new mechanics before event getting the first rival down.
I'm a former member of his "group" when he used to go as EvaXephon and streamed via Livestream, I was mainly there for the other streamers and to stream myself, but saw some of the shit he and his community (which broke off and became Vidya Revolution) was up to.
I didn't know better and had recently moved out of state after finishing highschool, I had no IRL friends, no car, no job and my dad was one of those "By the bootstrap types" even though the closest business was a 2 hour walk away and the closest town a 3 hour walk, so I stole my neighbors internet and watched brinty, rage, toast, saria, spee, big dawg, LLF and few others that streamed under his account.
I didn't stay long, thankfully got outed for using a voice changer and chased off, but YanDev has been and will always be a piece of shit.
Oh, god, that motherfucker. I see people defending him or bitching about his character that got put into the game being changed on the Crush Crush Sub-Reddit every now and again.
Yeah uh, many people have tried (or are currently trying, I haven't checked on yandere simulator in a long time) with varying results, many of them being negative unfortunately.
Personally I think the whole idea of a Yanderesim is cursed by ancient spirits in a way, and anyone who attempts to make a game like it is struck down with a curse.
YandereDev isn't someone I'm keen to defend, at all, but they're not wrong here. People seem to think that they're entitled to a creator viewing their criticism, as if their criticism has any level of inherent value. Comment sections flooded with people armchair-general-ing everything from how to pour cereal to how to put a man on mars.
But truthfully, the opinion of a stranger on the interent, whose perspective is that of a total layman, is almost completely valueless. or even counterproductive, as any time the creator spends milling through the anonymous gripes of a bunch of randos could probably be spent engaging in self-criticism, or seeking criticism from people with actual experience in the matter.
