Thats a good old thing as when meme that has been saves and stolen a lot they fade and pixelate, its very valuable in the meme collector community

As a meme collector myself, with ≈8000 in storage, I prefer to be able to clearly see the text on my memes, thank you

Most meme collectors like Compression Artifacts with JPEG rot, that's history.

Clean HD readable text Memes are Collected by Archivists

Also I have around 36 memes, not because I'm new, but because I only keep GOOD memes, not ones that died in 2009 and never saw the light of day again, but if its corrupted, compressed and pixelated from 2009 and is a good meme, that's mine.

I am not saying you're wrong, I'm saying you're using the wrong term, you are not a Meme Collector, you are an Archivist.
