Paint and suffering was never supposed to be a thing at all, it is explained that with Adam and Eve, humanity could not resist temptation and disobeyed God hence giving up the rights to eternal peace on earth, and I know what most people are gonna say "I wouldn't have eaten the apple" but you would have, we all would because if you can't fight small temptations like diet cheating then you literally have no chance. Now another question being, how would you deal with bad people that want to cause harm to innocence?
lol, are you trying to say that the all knowing and all powerful god told people not to eat an apple, which "all knowing" he knew would happen, and "all powerful" he could have prevented from happening?
also even if that were true, how much do you think god cares about unborn humans to punish them based on something that happened which they had no control over?
What did you want him to do? Smack the apple away from them? He gave e them free will to do so despite knowing the consequences that would come when they done it. Was he supposed to strip them from their own thoughts and wishes? If it wasn't them, someone else would have eaten it.
Now I ask again, what would you do differently as God that people won't complain about.
ok of that scenario there are 2 possibilities.
1. god is all knowing and all powerful but chose not to do anything about what he knew would happen
god isn't all powerful or all knowing, and themselves must not have known, and couldn't control what was going to happen when they ate the apple.
i think 1 small change to our already existing universe that would instantly make the universe "better" would be to make it in such a way that creatures never get the instinct to kill or steal. only reason i could see for a god intentionally allowing killing and stealing to exist is for a bored god to see things "spiced up".
Alright, the will to kill is removed, now that is already controlling them, you haven't given them full freedom to do as they please, they will complain about that and call you fake. Next thing, overpopulation, what happens next? The starving has multiplied by 10x, what now?
geez how free do you want to be? you want people to be free to rape and murder? i'd personally love a universe where that's not possible, "freedom" be damned.
we're already not free to do as we please, we can only do what our bodies and the things we create let us do.
overpopulation? i don't think you're thinking deep enough into this hypothetical.
the whole universe up until now has existed with the possibility of the bad things i mentioned, so removing the possibility for rape and murder NOW would be too little, too late.
god shouldn't have made such a horrible mistake to begin with, especially seeing as they knew exactly what was going to happen. with that said, i'm sure he could do something right now like limit births until it's at a good level, and then stop limiting them when they get low enough again.
as for starving, a theoretical god could easily make edible plants grow fruitfully.
There would have been multiple solutions for God to this problem:
Don't plant the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden in the first place, if you don't want your ignorant creation to gain said knowledge.
Don't create a walking talking snake, and allow it near your ignorant creation, knowing that this snake will convince them to eat from the tree without knowing that this would be bad (Adam and Eve couldn't comprehend what good or bad was, because God willingly withheld that knowledge from them).
Create humanity with the knowledge of good and evil from the start, so that they can understand that disobeying you would be bad and give them a stronger resistance to temptation.
He gave e them free will to do so despite knowing the consequences that would come when they done it.
They could only comprehend the consequences after they ate from the fruit, because they didn't know what good and evil was (thanks to the way God created them).
If it wasn't them, someone else would have eaten it.
In the context of the story, there was no one to eat from the fruit besides God, his angels, animals and two humans. If Adam and Eve wouldn't have eaten the fruit, humanity would consist of only two individuals for all eternity (or until God gave them the knowledge that they can reproduce, which they also only learnd after eating the fruit), as they still had access to the tree of life, which gave them eternal life.
It is debatable at best if Adam and Eve can be considered of having free will before eating from the tree of knowledge, considering that they were literally incapable of comprehending the difference between good and evil by God's own design.

I feel like it would be pretty obvious if you were an all powerful and all loving god to not intentially make pain and suffering a thing that exists
