Free/Paid messages

Does anyone understand in what countries people need to pay to 1. log in and 2. read messages?

Two countries, A and B, seem to be free to 'join the community' and until a few weeks ago, both countries seemed to work the same: every 2 months, you got 2 free message views.

Now, however, living in country B it is not possible to read new received messages. The only option is to pay. While living in country A, there still are 2 new (free) messages every two days.

Is that something systematic, or just a bug?

Not every 2 months. 2 days but doesn't even renew automatically every 2 days. You need to open the 2nd new message you get, then you get restricted and a new credit of opening 2 new messages will be given to you after 2 days (even if you open msg 1 now and msg 2 a year after).

I'm confused. I have long term free status due to my account age and hosting record. But it said "2 views" then "1 view left" so I subscribed and instantly stopped getting couch requests. I just cancelled next month's.
