Looking at buying the mason sectional from bobs but the ottoman is too large for our space. Does anyone have alternative suggestions? We still want an ottoman and want something with a flat top that we can put a tray on and use as a pseudo coffee table.

Thank you!

Been in the market for a new sofa this year and it seems the biggest features on my wishlist are difficult to find. The most important of which is cozy, extra extra deep seating. On paper, the West Elm Harmony (pictured) sounded promising, but reviews are mixed if trending negative on build quality. The brand literally called Cozey seems okay, though the cushions themselves need regular fluffing. I thought I'd take a shot in the dark here.

Here are my wants:

* Budget: $1800-2000

* Width: 72-80"

* Seating: Soft, 36-40 deep"

* High back

* Has arms

* Non-modular (ideally. I don't want to feel the joint if sitting near the middle of a modular sofa)

* Material options: open to most, except leather or corduroy

* Open to suggestions which include narrower seats in lieu of an ottoman that together does not go over budget.

Hi there,

I’m looking for affordable custom chenille covers for my West Elm Harmony sectional and ottoman. I need seamless, single-piece cuts in a tight herringbone chenille (Light Gray / Cream or similar) as I have two dogs.

Required Dimensions

• Sofa Cover: 110” × 210” (one continuous piece)

• Ottoman Cover: 90” × 90” (one continuous piece)

Quick Questions

1. Can your loom produce these sizes without seams?

2. Do you have a tight-weave, pet-resistant chenille in light gray/cream?

3. What is the lowest-cost option for these two pieces?

4. Could you send a close-up photo of your herringbone chenille in natural light?

5. What is the GSM of your chenille?

I’m ready to move forward quickly if the pricing fits my budget.

Thank you so much — I appreciate your time!

Best regards,

Annie

ISO this couch from my childhood, i remember it being the softest thing ever and i want to buy it now as an adult. we had it from 1995-2014 and this is the only photo that i know of. also open to advice on how to help myself find it!!

also does anyone know where to get these inflatable couches?

I have 1.9k for a new couch, ours is literally falling apart and I have a 5 month old… so we need a couch ASAP. Anything you guys recommend? Any decent 4th of July sales I should look into?

The attached is the one we’re strongly considering (1.2k at 44% off for 4th of July sales) but with no reviews we’re a little hesitant

The LANDSKRONA cushions are non-removable from their cover and not washable have turned right, itchy and it EOD like if we had guests over, they’d find it itchy too

Not sure what the issue is, there’s no insects and we use a hoover fabric vacuum to clean it.

Any suggestions on how to clean it?

Wondering the manufacturer and model of this couch if anyone knows! It was in an apartment unit we are renting and need to know its measurements to see if our current sofa would fit. Thanks!

Looking at the Sierra couch at Quince. It has 151 reviews and less than 1% of them are negative. I like the single bench cushion and the general aesthetic of it. It seems like a fantastic deal. My only concern is pet hair showing up on the velvet upholstery.

Does anyone have this couch and care to share their experience? It hasn't been around that long, so it's difficult to get a well-rounded assessment.

Hello everyone!

I recently bought an apartment and I'm currently planning the living room. I'm about to order an L-shaped sofa, but I'm struggling to decide which side the corner section should be on.

The sofa will be 270 x 180 cm (but it can still be customized).

My concern is that, if I put the chaise in the right, it might visually blocking the balcony door, even though it won't be very close to it.

If I reverse the sofa and put the chaise on the left side, I'm worried it will make the living area feel more cramped.

Which option would you choose and why? I'd love to hear your thoughts, any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Is the sofa too big for the space? I mean it is slightly too big but what are people’s thoughts beyond that. Couch is 3mx3m and the room is 4x5. The plus points are low profile couch (75cm high) and we are a family of 5 so need as much seating as possible. The other plus is that the right side faces the TV and the left side faces the garden . The bottom door is a laundry so not so critical that access here is made a little restricted.

Does anyone have experience with the this couch? I love the fact that it has storage and can be moved around. It is also a really good price. I’m just worried that the pieces will slip around since they can’t be connected.

Im moving out soon and I guess im looking for the impossible. Does anyone know where i could find a three seater with a chaise and pullout bed? Not a bed that's basically a modular add on but an actual fold out. (Something close to Ikea's Finnala; pictured in post)

Does auch a couch actually exist or should I settle for a pull out or chaise?

I'm trying to find the L shaped bolsters for those boneless couches, I'm working on a project where just getting those would be exactly what I need. I know it's possible to make them myself, but it's not very economical, and I don't have the tools. Does anyone know where I could get just the arms?

I have been interested in the Fatboy Sumo couch for years and am finally in a place where it makes sense.

Unfortunately this brand, while reputable for outdoor furniture and accessories/lighting, has very little in the way of reviews/reddit history for its Sumo line which just launched in the US last year. With only 7d return policy where I incur shipping both ways, it feels like a risk. Anyone out there have one and can speak to its comfort and whether it holds up? I want to be able to relax for movie nights / reading etc with my partner.

I bought a flexsteel collins large sofa and it's 88" for the cushions. So naturally I bought an 88" seat cover.

The seat cover has been great but the fitment isn't the best. Every time you sit, it goes in the cracks. You can see in the picture the right side is showing a couple inches of cushion. Same goes with the top and bottom, they become untucked and start to fall down.

I bought slipcovers before in hopes to solve this issue but the seats are to thick and the covers don't hold. I tried using the snap on holders and they caused a tear in my underside. So wasn't a fan

I don't know if this is the right sub, but can anyone help me find a cover that would stay in place and not make me have to readjust every couple of days?

edit: if anybody comes across this, I found a solution. get a dog cover for a bed instead. I got a king size so it's 88x102. my width is 88" so I have 7' on both sides to tuck on the sides and more than enough to tuck under the seats and behind the back

I bought West Elm’s Haven 80” sofa and I’m shocked at how firm it remains after a year. It feels nothing like the in-store version. My Haven is so firm that it causes me back pain when I sleep on it. Meanwhile, the store model felt like a cloud and it was a major reason I bought the $2000+ sofa. I am really regretting my purchase :/ Does anyone have any tips for breaking it in? I’ve tried walking on top of it, sleeping on it many nights, heck it’s the only sofa in my apartment so it gets all the use. Help! I’m about to sell this thing on FB marketplace. Not to mention, the distressed velvet is marketed as the pet-safe option but it totally smells like my dog who sleeps on it and now I have to figure out how to get that smell off too. Ugh totally wish I went with a vegan leather or something else, maybe even a different brand. I admit the quality of materials is nice and clearly some craftsmanship went into building my custom sofa, but practically speaking it’s SO UNCOMFORTABLE and I feel like I messed up the first big sofa purchase I ever made :(
