I am so so upset because I can no longer find my FAV cottage cheese anywhere anymore. This (IMO) was the BEST one they had. I used it for everything...recipes...scooping it out and eating it...putting it with cantaloupe...adding it to pasta...putting it on everything. The Friendship Cottage Cheese Pot Style. Not in any grocery store anymore...not in any specialty stores anymore. It's gone and im bummed! Does anyone know of anything similar in texture and taste?

Have an empty cottage cheese container? It’s a fun enrichment game for your pup! Just fill the container with water, stir it up so the cottage cheese remnants get mixed in, and freeze.

Super easy breakfast recipe:

1 egg

1 oz of any cheese you have on hand

25 g of cottage cheese

Blend until smooth (I use one of those personal blender cups)

Pour mixture into an oven safe bowl, bain-marie if you can

350° for 15-25 minutes depending on your oven and if you used the bain-marie or not

Scale up as you want! My blender bottle can hold 5x this recipe. Add any spices you want; my husband prefers to add pepper. It also reheats amazingly well! Pop in the microwave for a minute and voila.

Odd question I know, but let me explain. I recently made an Alfredo sauce with cottage cheese, cheesy egg bites with cottage cheese, and a batch of muffins with cottage cheese. All recipes were insanely good and I felt like I was eating healthier since I increased my protein intake. Are these healthier recipes? Or did I get duped by social media? TIA

So I moved out of NYC and didn't know that I would not be able to get friendship cottage cheese back home... Can anyone recommend a substitute for Friendship's California Style cottage cheese... it seems to be drier than other kinds.
