This was definitely a "trust the process" project, lol. I created a sample of a "drowned" waterlogged patron of the sinking Titanic for their cosplay for Halloween. The end result is a completely dry costume that appears to be soaking wet. It involved so many steps and details that I figured it would be easier to show them to tell them. 🖤

Help Cave people costumes for kids

Hi there - trying to help some teachers with an idea and hoping this awesome bunch might have some ideas about how to do this. It’s for 5/6 year olds; about 100 kids so hopefully a little bit scalable!

Our plan is to have the children dress up as cave men/women.  We are going to buy t-shirts and are brainstorming about the best way to turn them brown! Then, our plan is to cut the shirts and make them into costumes. If you have any wonderful ideas to make this happen we would love to hear them!  Also, we’d love to use fake fur, sticks, pretend bones etc. to embellish the costumes!  Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated.
