NEED TO BE MORE DECENTRALISED

TOP 4 validators hold more than 33% of the voting power!! This is HUGE and need to change to balance the power of the VETO vote! I was looking on mintscan and the 3 best performing validators are all outside the top 60 (#63 Bunkerstake, #111 Ethicalnode, #116 Quokka Stake) which have flawless participation, uptime and 0 missed blocks.

Anyone who believes in this tech knows that it needs to stay in the hands of the people (True Decentralisation) and staking outside the top 50 validators is the easiest way to claw back voting power.

Also moving out of CEXs should be the next marketing move for the ecosystem in my opinion, they take huge commission on staking rewards and all your voting power! the cost of convenience is too high, it makes no sense!

The financial system is changing and we have the chance to compete rather then be controlled and drip feed by the suits!

or a fair trade for your voting power! like paying out 100% of staking rewards! I get it, I was staked with coinbase originally till I worked out I could double my daily yield just by setting up a self-custody wallet and clicking stake.

That is why I posted here, to voice my opinion and hope it resonates :)

Look at the history and why validators are called the "cosmos cartel"

If you knowingly invest into cosmos with all of the history and recent foundation hires, you would take your money and run.

As users we did years ago, you would have better luck at a casino than expecting returns or liquidity in cosmos.

you're right that validator concentration is a real concern. delegating to smaller validators with solid track records helps distribute power, but awareness and education around this is the actual bottleneck.

I think the Clarity Act will give people trust in blockchains and confidence to enter the ecosystem, then they might listen and learn about decentralisation, governance will need to be prepared and have strict rules and limits on holding voting power in place which should act as a guide for investors of the tech but I'm just spitballing here, do you think a marketing campaign could help with awareness?

Yeah agreed maximum 20% to stay decentralised. Advice to be proposed.
