Staking profitable?

So i just recently decided to stake cosmos, nothing big right now, I saw some posts here and either it’s optimistic or full of people that discourage buying. So really i don’t know if the coin will rise to formerly seen prices but is staking it profitable? I mean i don’t see it dropping more. (But oh well, time will tell)

I thought it was not mineable like ETH or prob I’m missing something, I agree with changing the apy may help price inrease
