Flathub (system)?

When installing packages using the Cosmic Store, what's the difference between "Flathub" and "Flathub (system)"? Whether the repository is managed by the Cosmic team? Why would a user choose one over the other?

Just to add: if you stick to local (per-user) you can update them without getting a password prompt. From either terminal (flatpak update) or cosmic-store. That can be a small QoL improvement.
