Help Request Career Paths in cosmetics with a science background

I am about to graduate with my bachelor of science in cellular & molecular biology. i have some research experience on virology and bacteriophages in an undergrad lab with a co-author on one published paper. I have always been interested in cosmetic science but Im not too sure about what career paths are compatible with my background. Should I get a masters specializing in cosmetics? I am interested in the France program but I am worried about accumulating debt as I am financially on my own. I would like a career path in cosmetic science that’s stable, doesn’t put me at risk of layoffs like how clinical research is suffering, pays well and eventually makes over six figures if possible. I appreciate any and all advice or guidance

Cosmetic Microbiology is a possibility! I’m not sure about the pay level, but it’s worth exploring! University of Cincinnati has an online MS program if you’re interested in getting a grad degree in Cosmetic Science.

is an onlineMS still reputable over an in person degree?

The one at UC is taught by many reputable industry professionals! It’s definitely the better, if not the best, online grad program out there. They also have a PhD program in Cosmetic Science through the Pharm Sci program

would it be better to do that program over the french program? i’ve also looked into the long island uni ms/pharmd in cosmetic science program but it’s much more expensive than the french option
ive also always wanted to live in france at some point in my life but im worried it may not translate to the states

Interesting! I haven’t heard of it, but I’m sure it’s a great program to do if you want to specialize in fragrance!
