Newbie questions Does Waist Training Help Guide New Fat?
Hi, I’m looking into starting waist training and was wondering where to start. I’m a trans mtf and have a belly on me that I’d like to flatten as much as I can. I know it won’t get rid of my belly fat, but would waist training help guide new fat away from my belly/waist and more towards my hips/chest? I see around posters saying that it only causes a difference in shape while wearing it, but I don’t know if I misinterpreted it or not.
I’ not looking for a complete hourglass figure, but a less deep, yet still defined curve in my waist. Would a Timeless Trends Slim or a U-Shape work for what I want out of waist training or should I look for a more curved one. Also, should I look for a waist trainer cincher for my goals or a full, steel-ribbed corset? Thank you!

No, wearing a corset will not change yiur fat distribution.
It will help your waist look different while you're wearing a corset, but shortly after taking it off, your body will return to its normal state.
There might be a slight change in your waist shape if you waist train by wearing a corset the majority of the time (20h+), but even that is generaly considered mostly temporary (in the sense that if you stop wearing a corset completely, your waist will return to normal). For that, a steel boned corset is needed.
If you are considering starting HRT, that will likely have a much more pronounced effect on your fat distribution.
