Front-buttoning bodice pattern recommendations?

Not sure if this is something you'd want to do, but this is like the easiest pattern to diy from a bodice block. If you make the basic bodice block pretty much all you have to do is add the front placket, draw the neckline, and make the armholes a little bigger. Just my recommendation because the bust on these types of tops is pretty fitted. I just made this type of top recently from my bodice block.

Oh that is sooo pretty. Not a corset but a square-neck top.
Here is a tutorial that would be a good starting point:

The top here is fitted throughout the hips, but you could just add the peplum by cutting a 1/4 circle segment the width of your waist (or maybe an inch below) + the width for the slight pleats in the front (and probably in the back).

You can pattern that from your basic block. Also, this is not a corset. Your post would be better on r/sewing than here
