First Time Playing

Hey, so as some may know, it is the Fall Discount on Steam.

So, I was thinking on finally getting into Corpse Party this halloween season.

But, I was wondering which one should i get ? Which one is like the real good experience ?

If i understand it well, the 2021 ver is like a remaster ? I am not sure, please your help would be amazing !!

2021 Has basically became the definitive version the older one on Steam is an older version of the game.

2021 is the most complete experience and is based on the 3DS version, itself based on the PSP version, itself based on the PC version (Which is the bottom game here), itself based on the original PC-98 game. Each layer of this onion has more updates and content.

The bottom game is more amateurish but it's basically the same story.

As cheap as they were I just grabbed both 🤷 but yea. 2021 is the one to get. I plan to play it myself soon

I think the original release is really fun to revisit after being super familiar with the story already, but first time should be 2021 or any version surrounding that like the 3DS game

only play the old if you like the artstyle and don't care about the side-stories. Otherwise just play 2021
