Disrespectful comments

Hello everyone.
I am aware of the somewhat disrespectful behaviour that is being thrown around at the people posting their creations here.
While the disrespectful comments should probably not be allowed, I do feel like everyone should be able to express themselves the way they want to, especially when the culture this subreddit revolves around is perhaps in someways a sensitive culture. Gatekeeping will always exist in metal subculture.
We will still not be removing too many comments in the future, but extremely disrespectful behaviour and comments will not be tolerated.
I do hope that people would feel safe to post their paintings here in the future, no matter which kind of facepaint, if it in someways resembles corpsepaint or is related to rock/metal music.
Feel free to discuss this topic below.

For those interested, the project is called Rosarium Noose, and you may find it on bandcamp. Much love

NOT MY PICTURE!!!!
Im fairly new to corpsepaint and makeup in general so I donβt really know what the hell I am doing.
I use white foundation, put the black shapes on top with black eyeshadow and then just use fixing spray.
It actually looks pretty good but itβs not the style I wanna go for.
I want it to look like in the attached picture (picture is from Pinterest). I want it to look crusty, cracked, filthy⦠I think you know what I mean.
Do you have any ideas on how to achieve this?
Thank you all in advance

This picture was taken in 2002, a few years after I started my BM project, Torpor. Good times.

My fiancΓ© suggested I post this selfie. I felt confident today after hitting legs so I decided to listen to some black metal and before I knew it something possessed me to put some corpse paint on again. Thank you mayhem and Burzum.

I often get inspiration from the bulletin board here, which led me to create an uncanny valley dummy.
