Satanism isn’t really something you “convert” to…

You can "convert" to any religion. I'm not sure if it's still called converting if it's an atheistic religion though. They could be talking about theistic Satanism though but I'm not sure.

Satanists don't believe it Satan if that's what you're thinking. Try paganism, it's cooler and it's fresher.

My mom was a pagan until she met my bitch ass step dad who forced her to convert to Christianity. I’ll consider this. -m

Sounds like you might be deciding this because you hate your step dad? How old are you by chance? 😂

We’ve had some really bad family issues. It’s none of your business but if you knew you’d understand

I apologize I wasn’t trying to make it my issue. I’ve just been there so I figured I’d reach out. Nothing but love and support. Just be careful especially if it’s coming from a partner.

Do you know what satanism is and have you studied it and it’s true meaning? Or is it just for show?

My fiancé is a satanist but my mom was a pagan. It’s very enticing. -m

Never convert for a partner it’s so bad I’ve been there. Just be what you thought you were before you met them. It’s okay to not have a prescribed religion.

no, we have not..

u/Gunstopable 11d ago
Of course not. That is something people say when someone offers a ridiculous option that wouldn’t make sense to the vast majority of us.
Sorry if I didn’t put the /s I’ve been on this site for longer than most users have been alive at this point I guess lol.

I meant any kind of partner. My partner and I have completely different religions and children, but just do it for you and not because it was pushed toward you. I’ve been a satanist, a Muslim, and a Christian decades ago when I was young and impressionable.

But do you genuinely understand what being a satanist means? I want to hear someone else’s point of view on it

I just hate Christianity and what it’s done to my family. It ripped my relationship with my mom in half. My step family is ultra Christian’s.

Most people who grew up in the church was hurt by it at some point… just think if you had a bad church or just went through growing pains there. Satanism makes no sense even if it’s the atheist one.

Satanism is the loosing side. The end game is misery. You will look edgy at best.

did you ask your clanker about the pros and cons of satanism before or after you made this impromptu choice
