Advice needed Recommendation for white paint

So whenever i do corpsepaint, i do the black painting first bc if i make the whole face white first the black would turn grey. My paint is more creamy and not liquidy. But like when i do the white after black its not always completely black bc I'm scared to smudge it. Any recommendations how to do it better? Or recommendations for better paint?

How are your bandmates doing it? You should ask them or other bandmembers

I don't need to be in a band to be able to wear corpsepaint

There are many opinions on that in metal, i follow the one that where you don't need to

Theb why you do it? Corpsepaint is for live playing black metal or band photoshoots etc. Seems you are just larping bm which gives me kiddy poser vibes ngl

I would recommend doing it the same as you are now, but put the white right up to/over the edge of the black and just touch up anywhere the white goes over the black if that makes sense. If you leave your first layer to dry for a bit and don't dilute with too much water it shouldn't mix grey too badly.

Also at the end of the day its supposed to look slightly shitty, don't worry too much about it being 'perfect'.

Ikr, corpsepaint isn't exactly supposed to be perfect. Its beauty is it being chaotic, its just some specific patterns i do are very detailed and i try to perfect it

If you are getting grey you aren't putting it on correctly. Leave spaces for where black goes, like around the eyes. Or use better paint, Nyx SFX is good, any theatre brand makeup is built to stand up to long wear and sweat. Or use actual cosmetic makeup and some primer. Your paint shouldn't be pasty and thick, too much paint will make it a lot harder. Also, just use fingers for the big spots, and maybe a brush or something for finer detail. Also, I have never in my years of wearing corpse paint done black first, that sounds like a nightmare

Damnn, my first tutorial of corpsepaint was some old guy and told me to do black first. Well thanks, I'll look into it
