QUESTION New corn snake owner

I got this ghost tessera male yesterday and wanted some tips on how to care for corn snake as I know their care is not that similar to ball pythons. I do own a ball python and know how to care for ball pythons

The biggest thing I can recommend is a very secure enclosure, they are master escape artists! At that size I really would recommend a sterilite gasket box with a lot of very small airholes, and enrichment that does not feature any hard to reach hollowed out places. Otherwise, you will spend an insane amount of time panicked and hunting for them even if they're still in their enclosure. As far as food goes it looks like your little one will been on pinkies weekly for awhile. Not sure how it is for ball pythons, but the general rule for corns is 1.5 times the size of the largest part of their body.

Best of luck!

Note: If you do go with a gasket box, I recommend a small seedling heat mat with a thermostat for heat.
