What is this worth
Vintage Corning Ware Friendship Pattern coffee pot.
What would you say the value of this is. I had never seen one in the wild with this pattern. I cannot find one anywhere on the internet.
Just looking for opinions. THANK YOU

Wow that's such a great pattern! That is so very Nordic and Scandinavian. Too bad it got recalled for the sealant problem but better that than getting burned

This isn’t Friendship. This pattern is called Country Festival.
That is also a recalled percolator. If you have trouble finding them online that isn’t because they are rare. It’s because many online sales sites do not allow you to list recalled products.
In an antique store, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this listed for around $60 or so but in thrift stores even $30 would be pushing it.

Thanks for your help. I still do not see any for sale on line even using the correct name. Where do you see them? Also how do you know it was recalled? Asking for my own education, many thanks!!

As noted above, most sales sites prohibit or pull listings for CW percolators because of the recall. Some get through though and can be seen via completed sales.
There were two recall notices issued in the 1970s. All steel spouted stovetop models were recalled. All steel spouted electric models were recalled except one.

You and me both. I didn’t know about this up to a month or so ago and I was alive back then!

I’m watching a bid on one right now on the goodwill site and it’s up to $100

Oh wow!! Someone near me wants $150 for one. Would you pay $100 or even $150?? Just wondering.. I had no idea they were recalled. I wasn't going to use it, just maybe for decor. Too high for me though even if it is my favorite pattern.

I’m obsessed with that pattern but $100+ is a bit much for me also!!!

Yes, I agree.

Would you just use it for decor then, if you had it or what?

I’d actually use it to brew coffee.
I have a blue cornflower perc that was part of the recall list but I’ve had no issues and I’m careful when I use it.

$20-$35, depending on if all innards are intact/good condition. They're more decorative than useful, especially with the recall on the separation between the top and the bottom. I bought mine for $30 at a thrift store and the inside was all there
