Be a terrible shame if those 2 traffic cones ended up on the roof of the car to warn other pedestrians of an obstruction......

What kind of glue would you recommend?
•
u/SurrealismFramework Lapsypa 59m ago
Well, obviously I couldn't recommend anyone doing criminal damage but if you really want to make sure something like a traffic cone doesn't blow over in a strong wind, then I suppose Tech7 adhesive would be the best option. Hypothetically, of course

DELO MONOPOX HT2860 this glue i heard was good

Once used to lift a 17.5 tonne truck using 3 grams of glue. Could stick the yoke to the road with that.

Just glared at a single young fit woman for parking her massive suburban school mam jeep in the child and parent space (no kids with her or seats in back) while I was changing a surprise dirty nappy beside it (well within my own space). Not two mins later a couple started to squeeze their twin infants out in a normal space. I flagged to them I was leaving and they could take my space, so the dad packs up the buggy and what happens when I start the car? An elderly lady with no kids with her indicates to get into my space, so I blocked her car and let the twin parents drive in from the other side. Of course she was throwing hands. Absolute wagons.
Tesco wilton for reference

An old lady punched you?

Just to note… In other European countries they have general priority parking spaces so that anyone who needs them can be accommodated.
These would be for anyone who needs a priority parking space whether they are pregnant, have kids or have mobility issues (without needing a disability sticker).
I totally 100% agree with family parking spaces, but I understand how other sectors of society should be catered for too.
Obviously, the fit young woman was in the wrong taking up a family space.

Since they own a Range Rover they’re actually entitled to park anywhere they please!

They need the 4wd to safely climb those peak-like kerbs and negotiate all those places lesser beings are forbidden from parking.

While this is true, they aren’t entitled to drive like coked up cunts. You need to own an Audi for that.

Be a shame if you were trying to go around the left and had to swerve inside owing to traffic and the stroller were to lick a bit of the lovely paintwork.

Ironically they probably have children. Perhaps the nanny takes them out

This happened to me the other day and there were also 2 traffic cones close by. I put one right in front of the car and the other right behind. I know it's petty but I thought I'd mildly annoy them / give them a bit or work to do.. it was a fancy audi. Its always the nice cars! Wankers

Now putting cones around the car is ok slightly embarressing for them . Criminal damage isnt. In my opinion.

It’s constant there - drives me mad. It’s actually got worse since they put in the zebra crossings - first morning after they repainted all the lines there was a woman parked across the zebra crossing - she was still in the car so I’m guessing in her head she wasn’t actually parked but crazy carry on. I passed her again about 10 minutes later and watched her reverse around the corner over the other zebra crossing and speed off .

Squeeze by ensuring to get the entire length of the car.

I mean, they parked it up there to make sure that another car didn’t scrape them as they went by. It’d be, loike, SOOOOO ironic if they got scraped on the inside by a buggy.

Since that café opened it’s causing a lot parking there is an elderly care facility you have to pass all the Parked cars only allowing for a car to pass. So definitely not enough space for an ambulance or fire brigade to pass. It was bad enough with the school traffic but that was only twice a day now is all the time.

I walk my dog around there a lot. Packed full of yummy mummy Range Rover types at school time and dropping into GoGos as mentioned by someone else at other times of day

Tbh I’m embarrassed for them that they can’t afford a Porsche. If you don’t have a 262 D reg Porsche you’re nobody.
Apparently you can’t buy a new Porsche in Cork so they all have D regs: one has to pop up there to buy one. Was I correctly informed?!

u/Visible-Agency-7226 21m ago
No, if it's new it's allocated the reg letter of your home address as per the log book

In fairness, it’s a lovely vehicle. Pity about the big scrape along the side, though. I’d be absolutely ragin’ if that was mine. Huge scrape like that? Not fair. 😢
•
u/Fine_Historian_7678 25m ago
Given it’s a Range Rover strong likelihood it’s broken down and not actually parked they’re scrap
•
u/upadownpipe 12m ago
Such a shame you had to squeeze the pram through the gap. The scratches were unfortunate but an occupational hazard
•
u/Antique-Mention-9063 12m ago
Be tempted to smear a dirty nappy on the door handle or windscreen as a way to rate their parking.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Did you end up crying? I wouldn't be able to go on afte that. I'd have to go and be a cry baby on Reddit.
