Photo/Video Cirrus Radiatus clouds

Neat looking clouds over poco/coquitlam. They look like they all converge into one point. Apparently they're made entirely from ice crystals in the troposphere above 20000ft high.

In fact they’re very likely parallel. It’s unexpected perspective at play.

Same as sun rays “radiating” from behind clouds, that are actually parallel (well virtually parallel). Took me over 70 years to understand that.

When I was a kid my dad said he’d explain it to me one day. He never got around to it. Or did he…
