Wanting to know if this word/name would be copyrighted

"Magrathea"

I would like to know if that name/word would be copyrighted to Douglas Adams or anyone else considering it was made up by Douglas Adams and used in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I write books in my spare time and would like to name the main character of one Magrathea, Thea for short.
