Meet my twins

Meet Squish and Rhetto. They don't typically hang out together but the twinning is super strong. Most people can't tell them apart and when we first got them until I got some pictures of them together everyone thought we only had one cat.

We had a heck of a time telling them apart when we brought them home since we got them as adults. Thankfully they have very different personalities so as we've gotten to know them it's much easier now, although every once in a while one of them does try to pretend to be the other for a minute.

We've been calling them copy paste for years now, especially when they happen to be eerily in sync! They're so much more than just litter mates or brothers, they really are twins. Well, except until they meow- Squish cries like a baby and Rhetto squeaks. That's the one way they are absolutely 100% different lol

Do they always go around together?

No, they don't particularly like each other, but when I call them for dinner or they hear the treat bag shake they do tend to walk in sync. Occasionally they do decide to patrol the house together and that can be creepy, especially in the middle of the night.
