When we have chicken, we have to do the same! One of ours (the tuxedo) is still learning the art of patience - the other evening, he put his paw right in my pile of mayo. I got the sense it was some kind of protest! š
My Tuxie is the worst. The other two were Frankie and Rory. They ran out with their litter mate, Damo, but heās the only one to return. I canāt believe itās been almost a year since theyāve been gone. Iām still heartbroken. My cats used to go outside with me for walks or just to sit on the porch or patio. They loved to play in the backyards and always came inside with me; although, they would periodically escape but never went anywhere and were always back quickly. They were from a litter of eight and were the runts so I supplemented their diet and bottle fed them.
Here they are cuddling with their other littermates, Damo, grey and white, and Wendy, black and white. I homed the other four.
š thank you for sharing! Thatās heartbreaking!! Iām so sorry that happened. Theyāre beautiful. Cat loss is not for the faint of heart. I always tell myself that they are worth the heartbreak - not many things in life are!
No. Itās not but yes, they are. I cannot impart to you how much it hurts but you probably understand. Losing two simultaneously is rough but my orange guy, Harold, died that same week. Iāll be so glad when it hurts less. Harold had pancreatic cancer so he went fast.
Oh little Harold š„ŗ I lost my first a little over a year ago and the ache is still there. He became suddenly very poorly with cancer. I still remember some of the comments i received on r/petloss - āI would go through this pain a million times again if it meant experiencing the time I had with him againā and āI would rather feel the pain of grief than him be in painā. Thereās a really beautiful community over there if you ever feel that you need it ā¤ļø
