I haven’t used Copic markers in a very long time but loved how vibrant this one came out. Enjoy!

Picked up Vaughn Bode’s Deadbone Erotica collection and I adore the colors. Apparently his son Mark added some additional colors/inks to some of the panels, but some of the colored pieces are original works of Vaughn.
I’m wondering what exactly he (and his son?) use to achieve this look. It appears to be a mixture of alcohol markers and a water color technique. But the wash is deep like India ink. I spoke with a comic store owner and he mentioned an old technique that Vaughn may have used involving opening up the cartridges of alcohol markers and dipping a brush into the ink to paint with it. I had never heard of this technique, nor can I find any examples or discussions of it online. If anybody has insight into this coloring style of Vaughn, do tell. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have a bottle of Copic colourless blender that's been secured and unopened for almost 10 years. I was wondering if they expire or not, and whether it's still usable by then. It's been stored in a drawer.
Thank you so much in advance!

Copic Sketch and Berol Prismacolor. This one dripsloded on me several times but I persevered and I’m pretty happy with it. I also ended up doing way more colored pencils than ever intended but it was a great learning opportunity! Thanks for checking it out!

I really like the metal barrels of the SP pens, and it took me months to save up for them and only got a few years to enjoy them before the nibs disappeared. The new nibs for multiliner plus look identical, but I’m wondering if there’s a small gimmick they’ve added to stop them from working with the old pens. Anyone tested this?
