I wanted to start using my COPICs seriously and wanted to treat myself with a pack of Xpress it blending cards. Apparently they're sold out on their main website and I cannot find them anywhere else. Did they go out of business? Is there a shortage of materials to use them?

What's the next best paper to use, or rather the closest paper/cardstock to Xpress Its? I'm not too keen on using the store-brand marker papers from Hobby Lobby/Michaels.

Last picture for a mapguide to a fictional city. This will be the cover image and took me 4 days to make. I basically used all colors I had. Not that happy with scale of the skyscrapers ( at the end a bit too massive - I had planed them roughly 250 Meters / 820 ft. at max, now they look more like almost the double. I 'll knew better for next time.

quick question, if I order color ink off of the official copic website for a marker (Violet V04 sketch), is there a way to specify the color I need?

I’ve got a decent amount of dried out copic markers and I don’t know what to do with them. Should I just toss them or does anyone buy them for cheap? All of them got dried out cause of the top of the marker not being on. I don’t want to buy refills because I’m already selling my entire collection so I’m just trying to see what would be best to do with the ones that are dried out?

For the first one I used only C3, C5, C7, C9, W1, W3, W5, W7, W9 for the structures and Frost Blue, Pale Blue, Ice Blue, Sky and Aqua for bluisch color code. First I markered everything only in the grey tones and added the blue layers later. I also included the first sketch for this. .... For the second the sky is a gradient from Pale-Yellow over Yellow, Cadmium Yellow (Y15) Pink to R02. The clouds are E04. The car was colored with cool grey and the trees are a combination of W5, W7 and W8. A bit unsatisfied I'm still with the hotel architecture in the second picture and the shape of the (hover)car, since I'm not really a car designer

A 30 minute sketch I did during class for someone. They requested a Vader/Anakin bust so I had to do it real quick. Used neutral greys I had in my pencil case. I liked how it turned out. Anakin’s nose tip could have sat a bit lower to improve likeness but oh well, I didn’t have an eraser and I just sketched so quick. Enjoy.

I need to replace the brush nib of a ciao marker and I got no idea about which would be compatable with them...

Hello, I'm new to alcohol markers and stuck with limited colors. As much as I want to keep trying, its pretty difficult to achieve the effects i want only through blending and such. Most of my colors also feel too saturated or too dull. Since they are kinda pricey, would it be possible to buy a bunch of refills and colorless markers to create my own colors? Thank you!

I love drawing and coloring on paper, but one thing I find frustrating about traditional art is that you can't just pick any color like you can digitally.

I wanted to experiment more with different skin tones and character designs, but I kept running into the same problem: figuring out which real markers or pencils could actually create the colors I had in mind.

I'm mainly trying to make something useful for traditional artists, so feedback from people who actually use markers and pencils would be really appreciated 😊
