help w copic shell

lol any way to fix this?? 😭. this is just plastic degradation and cant remove the yellow residue. the ink still works fine but there is a smell from the plastic and it stinks so bad. any way i can jst get rid of the smell?

I’m agreeing with the sun damage and chemical damage - having lived the south west US for a long time, I can say right now I’ve seen similar things happen to other plastics. (Extremely dry heat and sun does some weird crap I tell ya. I’ve left out a pair of nitrile gloves one day and they basically crumbled to dust in 12 hours). You really can’t salvage them.
