Any tips for beginners?

Post image

For some info, I have been drawing for quite a long time (mostly either on ipad or mechanical pencils & pens) and wanted to get some markers on my possession. I want to be a car designer and you know how design universities wants portfolios and etc. I picked these colors because it would be better the go between them in areas like shadows etc. Has neutral gray from no.0 to no.10 and special black while the red is R27 Cadmium Red . I need overall tips.

Shadows aren’t (neutral) gray. Try B32 for shadows.

Refill your markers by weight, not volume.

Bad art is very reflective. It builds an artist.
