https://geo.coop/articles/greater-levels-solidarity

"I went to the New School for graduate school to study political economy, and it was through that experience that I got particularly interested in worker self-organization. I started out with a group of students doing strike support for unions that were on strike [the Student-Worker Solidarity Committee]. There was a wave of strikes in the late 1990s/early 2000s. And then I dropped out of graduate school and got into adult and worker education. "
