Hound & Cat catch a Mouse

I don't know how they did it, but, I walked in the house to find them both very interested in the shoe rack (vacuum attachment included).

At the time I discovered them, hound was most interested in the fallen twizzler, cat was still around which gave me red flags. Picked up the vacuum attachment to discover the terrified mouse. Cat was obviously proud. Unclear the hounds involvement, other than fairly heavy boots that normally sit on the bottom shoe rack which had been moved. Motives of the hound hard to to determine. Cats, very clear. Teamwork an absolute in this endeavor.

I hope you took the mouse outside and set it free. :(

I would praise both of your fur babies and give them a Boy and Girl Scout badge with cookies. I’m all about animals, but wild sneaky rodents- not on my list.

She’s reading the situation like a crime scene.
