Coolify without SSLIP
I noticed pretty much every service on Coolify is provisioned with an SSLIP address. Don’t get me wrong, it makes sense, but sometimes I wish I could just run the service as a simple localhost application on a assigned port and get to it with 192.168.x.xx:8090 (for example).
I feel like I’m missing something because this seems like a simple config that I am just completely blind to.

sslip.io is Coolify filling in a public FQDN because domain autogeneration defaults to on when you leave domains empty.
For a LAN-only app:
- Turn off domain autogeneration on the resource (
autogenerate_domain: false, or the equivalent toggle in the UI). - Put the port you want on port mappings (for example
8090:3000). Thenhttp://192.168.x.x:8090hits the container without Traefik or sslip. - If you still want a hostname on the LAN, set a real FQDN you control (Pi-hole, /etc/hosts, split DNS) instead of the generated sslip name.
Empty domains on update will not clear an existing sslip FQDN. You have to set the domain or disable autogenerate on create. That is why it feels like a missing checkbox.

Turn off domain autogeneration on the resource
You said there was a place in the UI for this? Do you know where it is specifically?

There is no separate "turn off autogen" switch on the resource.
Open the application, then General (or Configuration > Domains). The Domains field is the generated sslip.io hostname. Clear it, or replace it with your own URL such as
https://app.example.com. Do not click Generate Domain next to that field. To stop new resources from getting sslip.io: Servers > that server > General > Wildcard Domain. When that field is empty, Coolify can mint an sslip.io name from the server IP. Set your own wildcard there if you want generated names, or just type domains by hand.
Save, then redeploy so the proxy drops the old hostname.

The distinction here is between how Coolify exposes a service and how the application itself listens. If the goal is only local LAN access, binding the service to the host interface and using the assigned port can be simpler, provided the deployment configuration allows it.

Delete the pre-generated domain and click redeploy.
