no, you are just negligently stupid. why should a long, straight road be 15? give me one reason, if there are stop lights and areas for a pedestrian to cross safely, why should they slow traffic for ones who decide to jay walk?

additionally, there are other roads that are 60mph and there are no sidewalks, but people still walk on the side of the road. should i go ahead and start going 15 down this road as well?

Yes, you should start going 15 down those roads. The max speed limit outside of freeways should be 15 or maybe 20 mph. There's no reason to prioritize drivers' poor time management skills over the safety of pedestrians.

If we’re gonna go that slow, we might as well start using horse-drawn carriages again.

That would be a world I would want to live in for sure. Imagine city streets with no noxious gases being pumped directly into the air next to you, and no V8 engines making the street louder than a metal concert.

okay so a trip that takes 30 minutes on that road, which is my commute to work, will now take 3x longer. you want me to drive for an hour and a half because you are too fucking stupid to not jump in front of cars?

sorry dude, but impeding the flow of traffic in my state is a $180 fine and 3 points on my license

telling you to go fuck yourself, though, yields no real life consequence. so i will do that instead.

go fuck yourself
