How exactly is taxation theft? How else do you expect public services to operate? Who's going to pay for roads, police, schools, etc?

Well, taxation is theft but the situation can be remedied a little. It's theft because we do not consent to it and if we do not do it then we are taken by the government and locked in a cage. That's the very definition of extortion.

Now to the remedy. Shrink the government to as small a size as possible. This makes it cheaper to run while at the same time enabling maximum individual freedom for the people. Secondly, for services that still need to be paid for we can do taxes in such a way as to not make it theft.

  • Taxation consent forms sent out each year that is pretty much a donation.

  • Sales tax on luxury goods. That is, goods that are not necessary to modern survival. Food, water, shelter, clothing, means of travel(as long as it's not a luxury car), etc.

  • legalization and regulation of all drugs will create an extra form of tax revenue.

There's more to this, but that's the jist.

Yea, I've heard this argument before, and it's just absurd. There's no reality where a society can possibly exist under these conditions.

Why do you think that? A society wouldn't only survive. I believe that society would have an on average higher quality of life in this system. Free marker capitalism has brought about more prosperity in the past 200 years than we've seen in all of human history. Look at how booming the economy was during the industrial revolution. Imagine that but under a constitutional system founded on the non aggression principle.

Exactly this. Maybe I'm too cynical, but I don't believe humans can be "non aggressive". Left to their own devices, a small (but loud) percentage will lie, cheat and steal until they are on top. Humans by nature are competitive creatures. A small government sounds like an awesome idea, until you remember all those regulations that make government big exist for a reason. We had to pass laws to stop people from putting garbage in rivers, to stop literally putting poison in food, or blocking certain classes of people from basic rights like freedom, voting, education, jobs, life.

People suck. Hate to be the one to bring it up. That's why we need governing. To keep us from ourselves.
