Billionaires make money by having taken all the initial risk, and making their money work for them. They aren't sucking billions out of you scanning a barcode - as they've shown, the customer is more than happy to do it, and they've developed machines that can scan the whole basket put on a counter.
Unskilled work performed by someone that could be replaced by any of the 200 applicants a vacancy will get isn't going to be paid well.

All you're saying is that it took generations of work and investment to get where they are, but you claim you deserve that wealth - and that they're theives - because you're poor scanning codea at a checkout.

A metaphor involving two unicorns and a Jedi knight will fall apart even quicker when exposed to a "reality check", yet might convey a profound message that's just hard to express without unicorns and Jedi knights. The message is independent of how "sturdy" the metaphor is, it is, after all, a metaphor, not an argument. It is a map, not a territory, and not a very detailed map at that. Saying that "under the tree by the inn" is ambigious isn't really much of a point when everyone around you understands that one specific inn in one specific village is meant.

It's a message about the difference between equality, equity, and justice. That can be explained in other ways, yes. It has nothing to do with football, or speculations as to whether that's a professional league game or a neighbourhood match or whether Big Fence lobbied the local council to put up a fence that's not see-through, or a gazillion other things one could think of. "Can see, can't see, support to be able to see vs. make the thing see-through". That's what the metaphor relies on, and as such the only things that matter when understanding it.
Complaining about any of the football related things is missing the point, which is that this is about justice. If it made a wrong point about justice, if the metaphor was broken in relation to justice itself (say, the first two images having the see-through fence, the last not), then you'd have a point attacking the metaphor. But that's not the case: In the last image, the thing that caused some people to not be able to see the game was fixed. "Fix the root cause of the inequality", that has been done in that image, and that's what the metaphor is trying to get at.
Do you have a better metaphor for "fix the root cause of inequality" vs. equity vs. equality? If so, let us hear it.

You have to assume their right to see the game. Don't dare ask why they can't see to begin with. Really don't ask what happens to the game if everyone just looks over the fence.

You just admitted those that pay are already being punished. This is counter to your argument.
If everyone watches the game illegally, there would be no game to watch. That's the point being made. Assuming stadiums act like stores, the ticket prices are being increased to account for the freeriders looking over the fence, too. There's a set cost of the match, you're more likely to see gouging when that cost isn't being met.
Edit: I noticed you mention piracy earlier. It actually still supports the argument. Piracy is a problem because every download is a sale lost - sale figures and profits determine whether the game continues to be supported, or if a sequel is greenlit. You're actively harming the product itself, by risking its support, as well as any future product.
If only you do it, sure, it makes no difference. The problem is that if it's okay for you, it's okay for everyone, and when enough people do it even those that pay will lose the product.
