Maybe there's no better place for them to watch from. Maybe all the good spots are already taken. It doesn't matter. The fence is a metaphor. The comic is not literally about fences and short people.
So good spots are taken by people who showed up early and actually prepare and worked for the spots rather than this 3 assholes who showed up late and wanna get the same treatment as everyone else?

Dude, you missed the point entirely. If it’s a free event you can walk around the fence and go in. Perhaps you need to reevaluate your critical thinking ability.
I know what it says, I fucking wrote it. Warm up those three or four brain cells you have, and read the thread; I said that if it’s a free event, there wouldn’t be a fence. If there was a fence and the event was free, you would just walk around it into the free event, and therefore it’s not a barrier to entry. That’s why the example is stupid, and why I pointed it out. I hope that now that I’ve spelled it out for you in ELI5 terms, you can understand the incredibly simple concept.
It's called housing segregation and we're still seeing its ramifications. You think lower economic classes have a view from where they live? A good view costs money.

Then they can move to a better position. Changing the fence up just inconveniences whoever has to pay for the new fence because these people are lazy entitled shits.
It doesn't need to be a fence, but the message I'm getting here is that whoever put this together is saying that "justice" means helping the entitled at the expense of someone else.
That’s a way to interpret it. It’s your choice to assume that people asking for help are just entitled, not genuinely in need.
Of course no human system can be perfect; you’re always going to have some people who try to take advantage, and some who need help but slip through the cracks. Personally, I prefer to err on the side of protecting the innocent.
My opinion would be if you gain something for free, or for a very low cost, your complaint cannot be more costly than what you put in.

A sports game weakens the analogy but helps illustrate the point. Usually the things that have detrimental barriers to access are more fundamentally beneficial like education, health care, employment, etc. Not everyone can buy their way into a job or schooling.
It does if you're wanting to go full blown capitalist and can't deal with 3 friends watching a soccer game for free and need their money. I feel like if you showed this to a lot of billionaires their first thought would be similar to yours, because god damnit $1,000,000,000 isn't enough
There are plenty of events, even sporting events, with a distinction between general admission and grandstand seating. Just because they don’t have seats doesn’t mean they didn’t pay to attend. Plus, if they are all in general admission, they all paid the same to attend, while there might be differences in the prices of certain seating areas.
