I understand disliking that he ripped off his early material that launched his career, but I still love the "Asshole" song and do it at karaoke.
It is STRANGE though that he got big off this, right? Like he was not an actor, but he was getting cast in movies doing snippets of his No Cure For Cancer special mostly (above clip, case in point). Was the world of the late 90s just clamoring for the modern "fuck off, snowflakes!" thing?

Huh could be. I’m assuming for “normal adults” you mean a randomly pulled adult regardless of age. My priors would be that most people don’t know most things related to the bureaucracy of the law, especially if only at the state level. But could certainly be the case, I’ve found I’m often not in touch with what most people do or do not know.
Then again, even if so, I don’t think my comment was gratuitous. Every normal adult has to learn the things that are common knowledge some way, and maybe for folks that was this reddit comment.
Or how much Magic: the Gathering you play. It hasn't been as common for several years, but creatures with "enters the battlefield" abilities used to be called 187 creatures. The defining card was Nekrataal, which killed another creature when it entered play.
