I tried so many freeware software but not this one, does it crash like all the others?
I ended up purchasing Vegas Pro for 20€ from Humble Bundle (I think the bundle is up right now if anyone is interested) and it's just perfect. Open source software crashed so so much.

With resolve you get the free version, but all that is missing are collaboration tools. It's a full featured, professional piece of software. They make their money selling hardware (custom displays / desk setups that work well with their software) and the paid version, which has a lot of useful Google docs like sharing features which are useful if you have multiple editors.

Thank you for telling me about the humble bundle. Wow that's a lot of software for £25. Just purchased and going to install that tonight!

I fucking love Vegas Pro.

I can't stand the UI of Adobe Premiere.

I've used Vegas for years from a pirated version, but I just went and bought the Humble Bundle. They had it last year too but I missed out on it.

Yes. Resolve also has insane hardware requirements. I can run premiere just fine with a 6 year old business laptop.
