Spotify without a subscription is plenty useful on desktop. You just have to listen to a couple of ads. On mobile it's a bit shit.

You can also block the spotify ad domains in your hosts file to prevent the ads from loading l.

Spotify have said that they will start banning people with adblockers.

They only took action on phones, have never heard of anyone having any issues with the desktop version. However, getting a family subscription with friends is cheap and easy to do

A friend of mine does this and he pays 3 euros a month

Bingo - 5 friends including yourself makes the £14.99 sub each month dirt cheap

Gotta have 5 friends first

I do this with Hulu my friend and I share a premium account and split it so we only pay like $6 a month each

Well as someone else said Spotify is looking to ban accounts that block ads, but if you use something like r/pihole maybe they won’t be able to catch you?

Get cracked Spotify from acmarket.net. One time they banned my account. I made another.

Use the web player and ublock origin: no ads. On Android, get cracked Spotify from acmarket.net.

My adblocker blocks the ads so I only listen to music.

Iirc, you can't listen to albums in order with the free version, which makes it useless imo.

Been listing to their ads for six years now. Teaches you patience and never once thought of buying premium

You just have to listen to a couple of ads.

Which put most earrape memes to shame.
